As per Government norms and the rules prescribed by Dibrugarh University, to which Silapathar Science College is permanently affiliated, the college has a students' union. The members of this union are elected annually from and by the students of this College. The students' union is responsible for various kinds of activities ranging from organizing Freshmen Social, common room activities, Annual Sports, Swaraswati Puja and all other programs of this College etc. Every year the extravaganza to which the entire Silapathar Area has a eye on, National Science Day & the Establishment Day is also organized under the leadership of the students' union of this College.
